Requirements to drive in Karachi
- The Vehicle shouldn’t be a model before 1992. All the Vehicles from 90’s will have full inspection with more than one cross-check. The Vehicles must meet the Road Safety requirements according to Driving License Authority in Pakistan. The interior & exterior should be well maintained and must meet the standardized requirements. This is apart from vehicle’s mechanical & other maintenance necessary for good running.
- The Captains should meet the driving eligibility according to the Driving License Authority in Pakistan. All Captains should be minimum 18 years old with a valid driving license. If the person applying has a Learner’s License, they should switch to Full license as soon as possible.
- A Police clearance certificate for a clean captain’s record including no criminal conviction.
